Rehearsal of Performance Troupes: MOI Union Minister views the preparation measures

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn on Friday oversaw the rehearsal of the performance troupes which will participate in the closing ceremony of the 5th National Sports Festival at Transit Camp (Ywar Taw) in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Union Minister said that as the opening ceremony of the festival was completed successfully, closing ceremony will be held delightfully with the collective efforts for all. The Union Minister expressed thanks for the efforts of the ethnic people and students for their actively preparation for closing ceremony.

During the closing ceremony, the honourary performance programme will be added for recognizing of Myanmar Atar Thingyan which is officially recognized as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.

After instructing the needs, the Union Minister provided foodstuff to the coaches from the Department of Fine Arts, teachers and students from Basic Education High School and ethnic people.
