Rehabilitation Tasks: SAC member DPM inspected Sittwe Multipurpose Port

Member of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San inspected the completing rehabilitation and cleaning of Sittwe Strand Road and Sittwe Central Post Office in the morning on 27th May.

Next, the SAC member DPM arrived at Sittwe multipurpose port and inspected the loading the rescue and relief items onto the naval landing ships to transport to the cyclone affected regions.

In the afternoon, the SAC member DPM Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander of West Command Maj-Gen Htin Latt Oo attended the work coordination meeting on the rehabilitation of natural disaster held at the Rakhine State Government Office.

At the meeting, the responsible officials from the work committees clarified the status of completing the assistance and rehabilitation works, plans to be carried out, work progress and requirements. The Admiral Tin Aung San coordinated requirements to complete the implementation of rehabilitation works as quickly as possible.
