






Senior military officers have been assigned in Rakhine State under Section 11 of the Natural Disaster Management Law to oversee the progress of rehabilitation works in cyclone affected areas.

At the ceremony, they donated 2,402 bags of rice and 2,006 bags of vegetable seeds for 22 villages-tracts. In Kyau ktaw Township, Brigadier General Aung Thu Oo visited the Myoma Mhan Monastery and attended the rice donation ceremony for members of the Sangha there organized by the Township Disaster Management Committee and donated foodstuffs to members of the Sangha from 19 monasteries.
