






Health workers from the Office of the Commander in Chief (Army) and Ministry of Health are providing health care services to the people in cyclone-affected areas in Rakhine State.
On the 12th of June, Lt-Gen Phone Myat from the Office of the Commander in Chief (Army) and related officials inspected the situations on providing health care services to the people with hypertension, diarrhea, Osteoarthritis and general diseases at Maw Thee Nyar Village in Sittwe Township.
There, they also viewed donation of vegetable biryani by the SKY NET for People, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (Rakhine State), Myanmar-China Buddhism and Cultural Exchange Association, Myanmar-India-China International Cooperation & Economic Development Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Public Co., Ltd and Inter-Faith Friendship Organization.
They also visited the Police Station (Sittwe) and met with the police officers and their family members at the meeting hall and provided foodstuffs. On the same day, in Kyaukphyu Township, Lt-Gen Lu Aye together with the departmental officials donated books and stationery to the students at the Dhammisaryon Monastic School and the Aung Mingalar Monastic School.
They also managed cleaning up at the District Court by the Tatmadawmen and members of the Police Force and Fire Services Department. Also, they visited the clinic of the Maternal and Child Welfare Association in Buthidaung Township and viewed provision of health care services to cyclone affected people.
They also provided relief aid to the relevant officials for 6 districts at the Ywama Village-tract Administration Office. Also, they visited the Sasana Alin Yaung Monastery and donated construction materials, rice and cash provided by the Department of Disaster Management for 6 cyclone affected monasteries.
Similarly, in Sittwe Township, Brigadier General Aung Kyaw Moe and officials donated relief aid and foodstuffs to the people from Min Gan and Sit Oa kSu wards.
