






Senior military officers have been assigned in Rakhine State under Section 11 of the Natural Disaster Management Law to oversee the progress of rehabilitation works in cyclone affected areas.
On the 15th of July, in Kyaukphyu Township, Lt-Gen Lu Aye from the Office of the Commander in Chief (Army) encouraged Tatmadawmen, departmental staff and students cleaning the bushes in the compound of Kyaukphyu Education Degree College and Kyauk Ta Lone Ancient Pagoda in Gone Shane Village-tract. Similarly, in Paletwa Township of Chin State, Brigadier General Nay Win Aung observed and inspected the collective cleaning by Tatmadawmen and departmental staff at the No. (1) Basic Education High School.
Likewise, in Sittwe Township, Brigadier General Aung Kyaw Moe discussed with officials for the rehabilitation works at the Rakhine State Development Committee meeting hall. In Kyauktaw Township, Brigadier General Aung Thu Oo gave awards to honor outstanding students who successfully passed the 2022-2023 matriculation exam at the hall of the Township Administration Department.
Likewise, in Yanbye Township, Brigadier General Zaw Min Aye inspected and encouraged the cleaning the garbage and brunches of trees by the Tatmadawmen and members of the police force at the Township People’s Hospital. And he donated cash to the patients.
In Maungtaw Township, Brigadier General Tint Swe and officials attended the coordination meeting of the monsoon paddy cultivation in time for the recovery of agriculture that was damaged by the Storm “Mocha” at the hall of Township Administration Department.
