Rehabilitation in Rakhine State :Officials supervise rehabilitation works in Maungdaw Township

A high-ranking military official who is assigned to supervise rehabilitation tasks in Maungdaw Township of Rakhine State held meeting with 4 chairmen of District Administration departments at the Department of District General Administration in Maungdaw.

During the meeting, he heard reports on damages and losses caused by the cyclone ‘MOCHA’, rehabilitation and renovation processes after the cyclone. And, the high ranking military official and many other officials inspected the cyclone hit areas and damaged basic education schools in Kyaukpandu , Myoyu and Inndin villages.

And, he instructed concerned officials to accelerate the cleaning and renovation processes of basic education schools on time before school open season. He also inspected distribution of foodstuffs and medicines to the cyclone victims and providing medical treatments to the cyclone victims by Army medical corps in Kyaukpandu Village and coordinated the requirements.
