Rehabilitation in Rakhine State: Donated items from ASEAN countries handed over

Senior military officers have been assigned in Rakhine State to oversee the progress of rehabilitation works in cyclone-affected areas.

On the 28th of July, in KyaukPhyu Township of Rakhine State, Lt-Gen Lu Aye together with the departmental officials viewed the cleaning of bushes alongside the road in Asoeya ward.

Similarly, in Sittwe Township, Brigadier General Aung Kyaw Moe met with township/ district level departmental officials at the meeting hall of the District General Administration Office.

And, he gave the donated items from the ASEAN countries to the officials from related wards and village tracts to be able to implement natural disaster rehabilitation works, it’s learnt.
