Rehabilitation Process: Tatmadaw relief teams providing assistance in Rakhine

To facilitate necessary relief and rehabilitation activities in areas of Rakhine State affected by cyclonic storm MOCHA, in cooperation with social relief organizations and locals, the Tatmadaw relief teams consisting of local security forces are providing assistance in the affected areas.

Relief troops in Sittwe Township area are cleaning up damaged buildings and fallen trees. The relief troops are also cooperating with medical staff to provide medical treatments to locals in Theinganet village. The relief teams in Maungtaw Township in cooperation with mobile medical teams are also providing health care services to locals. The relief teams in Kyauktaw Township are also cleaning up fallen trees in the urban area.
