Rehabilitation Process: International assistance for quake-hit areas

On 5th April, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung received the delegations led by UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Mr. Tom Fletcher, Dr.Mohamad Ralhan Hafidz Bin Mohd Rafiek of Singapore Emergency Medical Team and Ms. Gao Ping, the Consul-General of the People's Republic of China at the Mandalay Region Government’s Office on separate occasions.

During the meetings, discussions were made on  UNOCHA’s emergency rescue and relief assistance to the earthquake hit areas, healthcare provision at the areas in need, requisite assistance for the rehabilitaion measures during post disaster period and further collaboration ‌activities to accelerate rehabilitation process upholding existing friendly relations.
