Rehabilitation Measures: SAC Chairman discussed for work implementations

A Coordination meeting for speedy implementation of rehabilitation measures in the affected areas of Cyclone Mocha was held on Saturday.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the meeting, held at the Commander-in-Chief Office.

The Prime Minister heard reports on the rehabilitation measures provided by the rescue teams that have been sent in advance in the cyclone hit areas as well as monsoon condition in the Bay of Bengal, donation of foodstuff and relief items, distribution process, health care services, arrangements for agriculture works and renovations works for damages in the cyclone hit areas.

The Prime Minister stressed the need to provide relief and rehabilitation measures to every needed places without fail. It is needed to prioritize the provision of foodstuff and transportation in the affected areas. He also stressed the need to provide convenient arrangements to avoid high price.

The Prime Minister also instructed necessary arrangements for the convenience at the monasteries, nunnery and religious facilities.
