






Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung inspected the flood hit drinking water distribution business in Inn Pyin outlet of Kalaw on Wednesday.
Under the supervision of the state government, the Development Affairs Department made speedy preparations and the redistribution of drinking water to the township residents. Since 20 September, the drinking water has been redistributed to the residential wards under the rotating system.
Moreover, plans are underway to supply water from Yay Aye Lake.After that, the Chief Minister and party inspected the dredging of slit and garbage in Kalaw Creek in Inpyin village, and instructed the relevant officials to take necessary steps to improve the flow of water.
They then proceeded to the No.1 Basic education High school in Kalaw which was affected by the recent flood and encouraged the students learning at the school. Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected the water current of Kalaw Creek and instructed to supervise for proper drainage system. Later, the Chief Minister met with the family members of those killed in the flood and provided cash to the affected families.
