









The Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association on Monday made donation of water purifier and accessories to the Sittwe University along with the launching of soy milk feeding project for basic education school students in Sittwe Township of Rakhine State.
In this event at the Sittwe University, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung said that he acknowledged and thanked all those who participated together with the government in the rehabilitation measures in Rakhine State affected by the storm MOCHA.
He also expressed words of appreciation to the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association for its active participation in the rehabilitation measures in the state.
And, Chairman of the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association explained purpose of the donation and handed over documents regarding donation of the water purifier and accessories worth 35 million Kyats and the soy milk feeding project.
There, the Union Minister and party inspected completion of teaching building repairs and plans. There, they also viewed demonstration of soy milk production with a soy milk grinder. Also, the Union Minister and party visited 2 basic education high schools in Sittwe, inspected repair works and provided backpacks and vegetable biryani.
They also visited KunTaung Village in Punnakyun Township, viewed healthcare services for locals, gave words of encouragement and provided vegetable biryani.
Also, they visited Myoma Pariyatti Monastery in Punnakyun Township and MyittaOoYin Monastery and donated cash. They also visited 2 basic education high schools in Punnakyun Township, inspected repair works and provided necessary assistance.
Also, they inspected the U RazMingalar damaged by the storm MOCHA and gave necessary instructions for quick repair. The Industrial Training School in Punnakyun Township was also inspected for repair.
Later the day, the Union Minister and party visited the Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport facility in Sittwe Township and inspected cargo discharging for storm-affected areas and the vessels heading to the storm-affected areas with relief aid and construction materials.
