Rehabilitation Measures: Provisions of agricultural inputs and relief supplies

The demonstration of applying agricultural inputs in flood affected farmlands was held KwanGyan Village, Padauk Chaung village-tract in Lewe Township of Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on 5th October.

During his remarks, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo stressed on replanting of flood affected farmlands, increasing yield per acre and meeting targeted yield. He also instructed the farmers to practice systematic agricultural inputs utilization in their farmlands.

During the ceremony, the Gypsum fertilizer and agricultural inputs were provided to the farmers. The demonstration involved preparations to apply agricultural inputs into farmlands, nurturing paddy plantations as well as broadcasting of urea fertilizer and natural fertilizer and pesticides application.

Subsequently, the Chairman and party overviewed the health care service provision administered by Nay Pyi Taw Public Health and Medical Services Department at Aung Zabu Monastery in YonePin Village.

Additionally, the Chairman and party visited NaNwinAing Village Monastery, gave words of comfort to the flood victims temporarily sheltered at the monastery and provided lunch boxes and foodstuff.
