






Military health workers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Ministry of Health are providing health care services to cyclone-affected victims in Rakhine State.
On the 13th of June, Lt-Gen Phone Myat from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) accompanied by the Commander of the Western Command Maj-Gen Htin Latt Oo and responsible officials cordially met with the military personnel and their family members who are carrying out the rehabilitation tasks in Sittwe, Kan Zauk and Kyauk Taw stations and gave words of encouragement to them.
After that, they donated the foodstuffs, construction materials, cash assistance and vegetable biryani which is donated by the Skynet for People, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (Rakhine State), Myanmar-China Buddhism and Cultural Exchange Association, Myanmar-India-China International Cooperation & Economic Development Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Public Co., Ltd and Inter-Faith Friendship Organization to the military personnel and their family members.
They also coordinated the needs upon the reports. After that, Lt-Gen. Phone Myat and party visited to Rathaetaung Township and inspected the situations on providing health care services by regional medical team of the Western Command to the local residents with hypertension, diarrhea, Osteoarthritis and general diseases, encouraged and provided vegetable biryani to them.
Later, Lt-Gen Phone Myat inspected the situations on preparing and packaging of vegetable biryani boxes which will be donated through 30-day charity feast donation plan and coordinated the needs.
