Rehabilitated manatee released in Florida

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and SeaWorld released a rehabilitated manatee on Thursday. The manatee, Crumpet, was spotted swimming sideways by Florida Power & Light staff members in the warm-water outflows of the company's clean energy center.

Crumpet swam away but FWC spotted the manatee two weeks later in Broward County and brought him to SeaWorld for rehabilitation.Officials say it's important for people in Florida's coastal areas to report any sick or distressed manatees they see so they can be brought to a rehabilitation center.
