Regulatory forum focuses on digital competitiveness

The Telecom Regulation 2025 Forum in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia gathered international organizations, regulators, and industry leaders to address challenges in the digital ecosystem, strengthen 5G and rural connectivity, and define future regulatory standards for the digital economy.

The forum discussed the challenges facing the borderless digital ecosystem and emphasized the need for a new regulatory model in today’s digital environment. Key issues addressed included solutions for connecting remote and rural areas, policies on the use of satellites, networks and infrastructure, and the role of the state in improving the quality of 5G services.

The event aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the digital economy while identifying the skills and tools future regulators will require.
