Regional Meeting: Myanmar hosts 5th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Women

Myanmar hosted the 5th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Women in a hybrid system on Friday. Chairman of the Myanmar National Committee on Women Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win extended greetings at the meeting which is held with the theme "Towards an Inclusive Society through Gender Mainstreaming and Women Empowerment".

The meeting discussed the report of the Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee on Women, work implementations under the meeting theme and future plans. It is learnt that the 6th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Women will be held in Thailand in October 2027.
