Regional Meeting: Myanmar delegation in Laos for ACDFM-21

Myanmar delegation led by Lieutenant General Soe Min Oo from the Commander-in-Chief Office on Wednesday left for Lao People's Democratic Republic to attend the 21st ASEAN Chiefs Of Defence Forces Meeting on behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

On arrival at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, the Myanmar delegation was welcomed by officials from Laos Ministry of National Defence as well as Myanmar Ambassador to Laos, the Military Attache and officials.

The delegation later called on Deputy Minister of Laos Ministry of National Defence Lt-Gen Khamlieng Outhakaisone and cordially discussed matters on promoting friendship between the two Armed Forces and strengthening cooperation. In the evening, Myanmar delegation attended a dinner reception in honour of the 21st ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Meeting, hosted by the Laotian Deputy Minister of National Defence.
