Regional Meeting: Myanmar delegation attends the CBTA Meeting in Laos

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo and delegation visited Laos at the invitation of the Laotian Ministry of Public Works and Transport.

On December 12th, the delegation attended the National Transport Facilitation Committee Senior Officials Meeting, and discussed the implementation of Grater Mekong Sub-Region Cross-Border Transport Facilitation Agreement and work plans for 2025.

On the 13th, the Deputy Prime Minister and party attended the 9th Joint Committee Meeting for the GMS Cross-Border Transport Agreement. The meeting discussed and adopted the Report of the Senior Officials Meeting, Joint Declaration of the 9th Joint Committee Meeting and MOU on second extension of Protocol-1 of the Cross-Border Transport Facilitation Agreement. Myanmar delegation arrived back in Yangon on December 13th.
