Regional Meeting: 23rd Southeast Asian Central Banks Deputy Governor Meeting

23rd Southeast Asian Central Banks Deputy Governor Meeting was hosted by the Central Bank of India via virtual system on Friday. Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar joined the meeting.

The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of India and the Acting Executive Director of the Southeast Asian Central Banks gave the opening speeches.

The meeting discussed the progress of works on the previous meeting’s decisions, implementation of the work plans of the Southeast Asian Central Banks in 2024 and future plans for 2025, scholarship programs, budget allocation, acceptance of the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development as the strategic partner of the Southeast Asian Central Banks Center and staff appointment.
