Regional leaders arrived at the Cairo Peace Summit

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi hosted the regional leaders at summit, dubbed the Cairo Peace Summit, to discuss the escalating war between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza on Saturday.
Egyptian authorities said that the summit aims to push for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Dubbed the Cairo Summit for Peace, representatives from countries including Jordan, France, Germany, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Qatar and South Africa are attending the one-day meeting on Saturday, together with United Nations and European Union officials.
