Regional Development:Magwe Region Investment Committe Meeting (10/2023)held

Chairman of the Magwe Region Investment Committee, Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and the committee members attended Magwe Region Investment Committee Meeting (10/2023) held at Region Government Office Yesterday afternoon.  

At the meeting, chief minister said that the second 6 months period for 2023-24 FY is beginning while the Magwe Region Investment Committee granted one Myanmar Citizen Investment Business with the investment amount of 5914.78 million kyats including 1.379 million USD in the first 6-month financial period and created job opportunities for 74 local people.

Similarly, one Foreign Investment Business with the investment amount of 218.890 million USD was given permission in Magwe region and the job creations were made for 52 foreign citizens and 207 locals. Magwe Regoin Investment Supervisory Team is conducting monthly regular filed inspections to the businesses that are operating in line with the Myanmar Investment Law and making coordinations on the investment activities.

By doing so, the better economical situations will be made for the region. He added that aiming to emerge the enterprises and investments meeting the international standards, the region investment committee is putting efforts in line with law, rules and regulations.

Afterwards, the committe members discussed about one business where the field inspection was made by the supervisory team and the discussion on proposed Myanmar Citizen Investment Business for the industrial sector of the region was also made.
