Regional Development: Tree planting, cow breeding farm and drug day preparation

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, together with officials participated in the tree planting ceremony, held in Hlaingthaya (West) Township on 24th June.

They joined the planning of 150 gold mohur saplings along the road section from BOC to Pan Hlaing Bridge on Hlaingthaya-Twantay Road. The Chief Minister and party later proceeded to Taloattaw Village in Twantay Township and inspected the chosen site for implementation of Livestock Breeding Zone. They then inspected Cow Breeding Farms in Zawtika and Phaya Ngoatto Villages.

The Chief Minister later oversaw the preparation measures for organizing a commemorative event for the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which will fall on June 26th.
