Regional Development: Transport road opening in Mawlamyinegyun Township

Leaderof the SAC's Central Advisory Body U Saw Tun Aung Myint on Sunday attended a transport road opening in Hteinkala Village in Mawlamyinegyun Township of Ayeyawaddy Region.

There, in his speech, the leader said that he is pleased to see the road that can be used in any season. The local people must maintain the production road with the relevant departments so that it can be used in a long-term and beneficial way for future generations.

For the development of the village, local people need to cooperate with relevant departments in the educational, health and social sectors, he added. Also, Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win stressed the regional government’s efforts for education, health and transport sectors as well as for drinking water and electricity access in the area.

And, they ceremonially opened the transport road and made inspection. It’s reported that this transport road constructed by the Department of Rural Development is 2,450 feet long and 10 feet wide.
