Regional Development: SG met departmental staff and locals in Coco Kyun Township

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with departmental personnel, local people and community elders of Coco Kyun Township on Sunday. Officials reported on the needs for regional development. In his speech, the Senior General said he has visited Coco Kyun Township for the first time on 8th April 2012, and this is the 19th visit to the place.

Efforts have been made for socio-economic development of local people, and at present, the township has developed many progresses compared to last 11 years period.He urged the local people to cooperate with the government in an effort for development endeavours.

He pointed out that Coco Kyun area endows with many natural beauties and efforts are being made for development of tourism industry. He urged all to make strenuous efforts for production works based on agriculture and livestock sector which could help develop the region. He also stressed for providing systematic teaching of academic subjects while paving ways for achieving positive thinking.

He urged all to strive for achieving more progress in the region. The Senior General later presented foodstuff for the departmental personnel, and enjoyed the waster throwing together with the departmental personnel, local people and community elders. The Senior General and party later toured round the Coco Kyun Township by a mortorcade.
