Regional Development: MOALI UM met with officials from agriculture sector

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung met with the concerned officials from agricultural sector at the meeting hall of the Department of Agricultural Land Management and Statistics in Lay Shi Township, Naga Self-Administered Zone on Tuesday.

At the meeting, the Union Minister said that service personnel are needed to study work related technologies theoretically and practically at extra time to be able to perform duties proficiently, and to contribute professions to national races and local residents at the respective regions of responsibility supporting the socio economic development of the region, to stay alert for security and to implement the tasks following the guidance of the department and the existing laws and civil service regulations.

Next, the director general from the Department of Agriculture discussed to cooperate among the departments in unity for increasing crops yieding and production and the director general from Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department suggested the implemenation measures for the improvement of livestock breeding in Nag Self-Administerd Zone. Then, the Union Minister cordially met with service personnel asking the difficulties encountered while performing the tasks and supplemented the needs after providing foodstuff.
