Regional Development: Investment Opportunities in Mandalay Region

A discussion on promoting domestic investment in Mandalay Region was held at Mandalay City Hall on Thursday. The meeting aims to understand the investment opportunities and related laws,bylaws ad regulations as well as to be familiar with the rights and exemptions as per the Myanmar Investment Law.
Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw discussed that Mandalay Region stands as Economic Growth Pole of Myanmar as it connects major trading routes. He urged all to strive for development of regional products through domestic investment promotion.
Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung also explained the arrangements for loan disbursement to oil millers for sufficiency of local oil consumption, and invited the local investments in addition to foreign investments.The program then continued with the discussions on "Investment Opportunities in Mandalay Region."
