Regional Development: Interfaith friendship, landscaping, marketplace, and cash donation

Member of the State Administration Council Porel Aung Thein, along with Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin and officials, held a meeting with members of the Interfaith Friendship Association at the Kayah State Government Office on Wednesday.

The SAC member delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the importance of harmonious cooperation in efforts to achieve peace, stability, the rule of law, economic development, and the nurturing of a new generation equipped with five strengths, as well as addressing religious needs.

The Chief Minister also discussed initiatives for regional peace and development in collaboration with the people, along with the assistance to be provided for the regular operation of the Interfaith Friendship Association.

Afterwards, religious leaders presented their current activities, future plans, and needs. In the afternoon, the SAC member, the Chief Minister, and officials provided cash assistance to 11 religious organizations. They then inspected beautification efforts in the Loikaw and Naung Yar Lake area.

Later, they visited the Thiri Mingala Central Market, where they oversaw the sale of rice, meat, fish, beans and pulses, basic foodstuffs, and consumer goods. They also met with members of the market committee, the market welfare committee, and shoppers to discuss fire safety measures, the expansion of shops, reopening of shops affected by security issues, and price stability.

Then, they inspected the ongoing construction of two new market buildings, a wet market with fly-proof facilities, and roof repairs for 12 market buildings.

The SAC member and party then visited Thiri Mingala Hill (Taung Kwe Ceti), where they made a cash donation. They also inspected the construction of the Abaya Mudra Repository at the Thiri Yadana Prayer Hall and coordinated further needs.
