Regional Development: Chief Minister attends meeting, inspects construction

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye held a meeting with township-level governmental employees, town elders and locals for regional development.

In this meeting at the Mongbyin Township General Administration Department, Head of the Department explained the regional date; the town elders and locals presented requirements and the Chief Minister pledged to fulfill the requirements for the regional development. After the meeting, the Chief Minister provided cash assistance for Mongbyin Township governmental employees.

The Chief Minister also inspected construction of approach roads to the Thanlwin River-Crossing Bridge (Tharkaw). At the briefing hall, he heard report on construction process, gave necessary instructions and provided cash assistance. The approach road at the Kunhing side is designed to be 200 meters long and 8.5 meters wide, and the same at the Mongbyin side.
