Regional Development: Bago Region CM makes inspections in Pandaung Township

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win inspected regional development works in Pandaung Township area.

First, in PhaungKan Ward, the Chief Minister held a meeting with members of the cooperative enterprise producing Myanmar traditional pots which discussed loan, training to produce value-added products, designs and quality and sale system.

After the meeting, the Chief Minister viewed pots making processes. In MaGyiHtone and KyunMee village-tracts, the Chief Minister inspected oil crop plantation and explained the government’s efforts for expanding the production of locally produced peanut oil.

He also coordinated with concerned officials for cattle breeding with shed system and napier grass planting. In NgaSalPay Village-tract, the Chief Minister inspected NyaungKai Dam, heard report on the dam upgrade for summer paddy irrigation and called for maintenance.
