Regional Development: Bago Region Chief Minister's tour of Letbadan and Thayawady Townships

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, along with the Regional Ministers, on September 23rd visited the Ayar Kyaw Rice Mill located in MaUkone Ward of Letbadan Township. This rice mill operates with a 350-kilowatt rice husk gasifier-powered generator, boasting a daily production capacity of 120 tons.

During the visit, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for an improved drainage system to manage wastewater efficiently, with a focus on preserving the natural environment. He also encouraged the production of fuel bars and animal feeds using rice husk and its by-products.

The tour continued with a visit to the Tint Tint Snack Industry, where the delegation observed the production process. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of adopting international packaging standards, ensuring hygiene, avoiding chemical usage, upholding food safety measures, and enhancing production. He also emphasized the need for efficient loan disbursement to support the industry's growth.

Then, the Chief Minister and party arrived at Thin Taw Yoe Village in Thayawady Township. They inspected test monsoon paddy plantations and provided valuable insights into agricultural techniques to local farmers. Additionally, they inspected a poultry farm in Magyi Chaung Village, where they encouraged increased engagement in livestock farming to enhance local food sufficiency.
