






The high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing returned to Myanmar on April 4 after attending the 6th BIMSTEC Summit held in Thailand.
The delegation departed from Don Mueang Airport and they were seen off by Thai Minister of Labour Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Zaw Zaw Soe, and officials.
On arrival at Nay Pyi Taw Airport, they were welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, Council Secretary, Council Members, Union Ministers, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Command, Thai Ambassador to Myanmar and officials.
During the trip, the Prime Minister attended the 6th BIMSTEC Summit, held discussions with heads of government and delegations from BIMSTEC member countries, and addressed the ongoing situation in Myanmar due to the recent earthquake.
Discussions focused on effective cooperation for disaster response, humanitarian assistance, rehabilitation efforts, as well as enhancing international cooperation and friendly relations among member countries.
