Regional Cooperation: Myanmar delegation attends 33rd AARM

The Myanmar delegation led by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy, and Air) General Kyaw Swar Linn visited Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute (SAFTI) on 27th November.

The delegation is currently in Singapore to attend the closing ceremony of 33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet-33rd AARM. They viewed around the urban warfare demonstration ground and the aid weapon system which is used in urban warfare, sniper rifle shooting demonstration, surveillance-used drone demonstration and ground-based unmanned vehicle systems.

Then, the Chief of the General staff and party visited Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute Parade ground where they participated in novelty shoot along with the ASEAN army chiefs of staff and delegation leaders. They also observed the demonstration of combat vehicles and unmanned systems.

After that, the Chief of the General Staff and party attended the closing ceremony of 33rd AARM. Following this, the Myanmar delegation cordially met with the participating team members. In the evening, the Myanmar delegation attended the commemorative dinner in honour of the 33rd AARM.
