Regional Cooperation: Meeting with the BIMSTEC Secretary General

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Secretary General of BIMSTEC Mr. Indra Mani Pandey on April 4 at Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok of Thailand.

During the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on successful hosting of 4th meeting of BIMSTEC National Security Chief in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar’s active participation in BIMSTEC, successful holding of current BIMSTEC Summit in Thailand and Myanmar’s efforts in agriculture sector for food sufficiency among BIMSTEC member countries.
