Regional activities: Chief Minister observes collective sanitation by departmental staffs

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with the Region Minister for Economic Affairs and departmental officials visited historic Zeya Mingalar Shwe Inn Taung Pagoda in Taung Dwin Gyi on Thursday and donated flowers, water, oil and fruits to the pagoda and observed performing collective sanitation by departmental staffs on the pagoda platform.

Later, the Region Minister and party paid homage to the joint secretary of the State Sangha Nayaka Committee Hnget Pyit Taung Monastery Presiding Sayadaw Buddhanta Marnita and donated offertories. The Chief Minister and party then donated cash for elders from Hnget Pyit Taung  Home for the Aged.

They then looked into the site chosen for the construction of the clinic of Hnget Pyit Taung Blood purification foundation and and gave necessary instructions.

The Chief Minister also attended opening of the new building of Steel Structure Indoor Stadium which was build with 285 million Union Fund of the Sports and Physical Education Department for 2020-2021 financial year in Taung Dwin Gyi Township.

The Indoor Stadium was constructed to nuture outstanding new generation athletes who can take pride for the nation in the township. From there, the Chief Minister and party inspected Wet Katae bridge construction site on Yangon-Pyay-Magway-Mandalay road  and called for worksite safety and completion of the tasks within set standard and instructed the needs.
