Red Cross Central Council Meeting: MRCS organizes 2-day meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

The 85th Red Cross Central Council Meeting of Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) commenced in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Deputy Minister for Health Dr Aye Tun attended the opening ceremony and made a speech. He expressed his appreciation to the MRCS for providing humanitarian assistance during the time of global pandemic.

He urged all MRCS members to continue providing volunteer services for the interest of the people. MRCS Chairman Dr Maung Maung Myint later explained the work undertakings of the association.

The Deputy Minister later viewed round the booths displayed there, together with the attendees. The 85th Red Cross Central Council Meeting will be held for two days from 6th to 7th January.
