The movie “A Red Blanket” is based on a true story. The story was written by Tin Than Oo, and Tin Aung Soe (Pan Myo Thaw) while the script by Myo Myint Yan Naung. It is directed by Director Tin Aung Soe (Pan Myo Taw).
Film Director, Tin Aung Soe (Pan Myo Taw), said " When we were young, around 1987/88, that film was produced by our mentor Tin Than Oo. We watched it. For now, we rewrote the script to be conformed to the time. We tried thousand times to make this film since four years ago. Finally, we made it this year. Saya Tin Than Oo and me wrote the story together. Movie plots and endings may be different a little bit from the original one. At the beginnings, we took the true story of one junior Tatmadaw officer and we created a family for him and that family is going to lead the story. The movie highlights friendship and peace."
The film takes two hours and 40 minutes and is focusing on the peace and affection to hail the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
Nat Khet (Actor), said " I play the role as Captain Ye Naing Aung. If we feel the movie from art corner, there are so many movie plots deserved to watch. I feel satisfied as the film is focusing on peace and friendship. This is my first time acting like a Tatmadaw man. I tried to learn the nature of Tatmadaw men as much as I can. I talked with them at times of shooting break in the military base. I asked them what I wanted to know. So, the shooting went smoothly."
The film will also honor the sacrifices of Tatmadawmen, affection and perpetual peace marking the coming 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
