Recovery underway in tornado-devastated Mississippi

Search and recovery crews resumed the task of digging through flattened and battered homes, commercial buildings and municipal offices on Sunday, after a deadly tornado made its way through the US state of Mississippi.

At least 25 people were killed and dozens of others were injured after a massive storm ripped through several towns late Friday.President Joe Biden issued an emergency declaration for Mississippi early on Sunday, making federal funding available to hardest hit areas.
