






On Sunday, Chief Minister of Sagaing Region visited the 700 anniversary Sports Ground in Sagaing to oversee the health care services being rendered to the quake-hit communities. A medical team from Malaysia has set up a temporary treatment center to provide health treatment to the affected people by the severe earthquake.
The Chief Minister viewed the treatment process to the members of the Sangha, nuns and local residents. This was followed by a ceremony to provide assistance for the quake-hit communities. Over 72 million kyat worth basic foodstuff for more than 2,300 people were provided during the event.
The Chief Minister and party later inspected the clearing the debris of collapsed houses in downtown Sagaing. The clean-up activities are being carried out by the collective efforts of the Tatmadawmen, Myanmar Police Force, Fire Brigade members and social organizations.
