
Six persons recovered from the coronavirus contraction from Maungdaw, Rakhine State were reportedly discharged from the hospital at 10 am on Wednesday.
The local authorities presented the certificate of virus free to the recovered patients at Maungdaw Hospital and urged them to stay at home for seven days with limited access.
Those who were discharged from the hospital were in accordance with the criteria issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports, and they were sent back home by volunteers by a local philanthropic group.
As of the morning of November 18, a total of 372 cases of coronavirus contraction had been reported in Maungdaw. Out of them, a total of 310 people have been discharged from the hospital and with two deaths.
60 coronavirus-positive patients are currently being treated at Maungdaw Hospital, according to Dr Nu Kathi San, Assistant Director of the Department of Public Health.
