Recognition for Success: MCRD honours the outstanding athletes

The Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development awarded the athletes who excelled in the 5th National Sports Festival which was held from December 9th to 20th. The ministry representing teams stood third places in football and golf during the festival.

Union Minister U Hla Moe expressed his recognition to the athletes for their harmonious efforts and urged all to continue their efforts for achieving more wins in the future events. 25 million kyats were awarded to the football team while one million kyat cash award was presented to the winner of best mid-fielder. Likewise, 10 million kyat cash award was presented to the golfers.
