Reception of National Day: Egypt celebrates 73rd National Day in Yangon

The reception for the 73rd National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt was held at 7:00 PM on July 7 at the Melia Hotel in Yangon.

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Kan Zaw, attended the event. First, Mrs. Aya Saad Mohamed Abdelkarim, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Myanmar, and other officials warmly welcomed Union Minister Dr. Kan Zaw and all attendees.

The ceremony began with the national anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Arab Republic of Egypt. Next, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Myanmar, delivered a welcoming speech. Subsequently, the Union Minister and the Egyptian Ambassador jointly cut a cake to commemorate the 73rd National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

They then took a group photo with those attending the reception. The Ambassador then hosted a dinner reception for all guests. Attendees at the reception included Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, ambassadors from foreign embassies in Yangon, Chargé d'affaires, resident representatives of the United Nations, and other invited guests.
