Receiving UNFPA Rep.: MoSWRR UM received UNFPA Rep. for Myanmar

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win met with Mr. Jaime Nadal Roig, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Representative for Myanmar, on the afternoon of December 1 at the reception hall of the Ministry.

During the meeting, they openly exchanged views and discussed matters including UNFPA's provision of Dignity Kits for earthquake-affected areas, UNFPA's ongoing support for victims of violence at the One Stop Women Support Centres (OSWSCs) under the Department of Social Welfare, UNFPA's coordination regarding visa matters for its international staff, and the signing of the Work plan extension for the continued collaborative implementation of the Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment programme between the Department of Social Welfare and UNFPA.
