Receiving of Russian Delegation: MCRD UM received Russian delegation

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe received a delegation led by Mr. Sergey Shatirov, Board Member of the Russian Federation's Roscongress Investment Fund, at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on December 3.

During the meeting, Union Minister U Hla Moe and Mr. Sergey Shatirov of the Roscongress Investment Fund openly exchanged views and discussed matters related to the natural fertilizer factory construction project, a Russia-Myanmar cooperation initiative, the status of signing MoUs for projects jointly implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development and the Roscongress Investment Fund, the status of trial cultivation of nine sunflower varieties provided by Russia through agricultural cooperative societies, the status of efforts to produce foliar spray fertilizers and matters related to commencing the natural fertilizer factory construction work in December and completing the factory within one year, it’s learnt.
