Receiving resident representative: MoIP UM received resident representative of UNFPA

The Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received resident representative of UNFPA Mr. Jaime Nadal Roig at the Ministry in the Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 16th July.

During the call, they cordially exchanged views on the matters of providing assistance of UNFPA in the implementations for the correct census and population lists and documents for many years, close cooperation between the Ministry and UNFPA for the enumeration process of 2014 nationwide census, status of granting visa and permission of residency for the foreign employees of UNFPA, Ministry’s efforts for enumeration of 2024 population and housing census and the collaboration of UNFPA in the population and development works implementing by the Ministry.
