Receiving Nepal ambassador: MoRAC UM received Nepal ambassador

The Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, U Tin Oo Lwin, received Mr. Harishchandra Ghimire, the Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar, at the Ministry, Office No. 35, Nay Pyi Taw, on March 18.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the "Nepal-Myanmar Partnership in Digital Transformation Program," scheduled to take place in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw during March. The the staff members of the Ministry who are responsible for implementing Information and Technology (IT) techniques in relevant sectors are invited to participate in the program.

Additionally, both sides openly and cordially exchanged views on ways the two countries could collaborate in providing IT-based services in the fields of religion and culture. The meeting was attended by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, U Myint Oo, Directors-General, and other relevant departmental officials, it’s reported.
