Receiving MESF delegation: MoSYA UM received MESF Chairman and members

The Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, together with Deputy Minister U Htein Lin, and officials received the Chairman of the Myanmar Equestrian Sports FederationU Pyone Maung Maung and members at the Ministry’s reception hall in Nay Pyi Taw, on Monday.

First, Chairman U Pyone Maung Maung discussed the plans to develop equestrian sports, aiming to nurture a new generation of young equestrian athletes and enable them to compete in international equestrian competitions. He reported that, in 2024, approximately 14 equestrian competitions and training sessions will be organized. He also shared updates about the preparations for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, where equestrian sports will be featured, and explained the plans for further developments.

The Deputy Minister and other officials contributed to the discussion, and when the Union Minister spoke, he expressed his pleasure in witnessing the efforts of the Federation's chairman and team, who are actively working to advance equestrian sports. He mentioned that, through collaboration and mutual support, the level of equestrian sports would improve, and the Ministry would continue to provide the necessary support to help achieve this.
