Receiving guidance: Trainees from Taninthayi Region received guidance

The ceremony for the students of the 2024-2025 academic year who will attend the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) 5-year training (12th batch) at the University of Development for National Races of the Union, as well as the first-year students of the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Dgree Colleges (Yangon and Sagaing), to receive guidance from the Chief Minister of Tanintharyi Region took place at the region government office in Dawei on 28th October.

During the ceremony, Chief Minister U Myat Ko addressed the selected students from Tanintharyi Region who will soon depart for their respective universities and degree colleges. He emphasized the importance of following the instructions and guidelines from supervisors and responsible persons during their journey.

He encouraged the students to complete their studies in higher education and return to actively participate in the development of their local communities.

The Chief Minister also urged the students to understand, preserve, and respect the culture and traditions of Union nationalities, as well as to work towards the development of border areas and improving the living standards of the national races. Next, the Chief Minister provided 2.5 million Kyats of cash assistance for the trainees and a trainee expressed words of thanks.
