Receiving a delegation: DPM UM received Russian State Duma delegation

U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received the Russian State Duma delegation led by Mr. Sholban Kara-Ool, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation at the Union Minister’s Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 3rd December 2024.

During the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on the further consolidation of the existing ties of friendship between Myanmar and Russia, expansion of bilateral cooperation in various areas including economic, cultural and tourism sectors, and enhancement of cooperation through regional and international organizations.
