Receiving delegation: 700,000 Chinese yuan donated for flood victims

On Monday, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi received a delegation led by Mr. Liu Yong, Deputy Governor of Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China, at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they engaged in a friendly and open discussion about the terms of collaboration in the development of forestry, mineral resources, and environmental conservation sectors.

Following the meeting, the China Arts and Crafts Association donated supplies valued at 700,000 Chinese yuan to flood-affected victims in Myanmar. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry received the donation and presented a certificate of honor in recognition of this generous support.
